ARL Bio Pharma is a lab that has gone above and beyond the requirements, and has voluntarily pursued certifications, to maintain their higher standards – they are FDA inspected and ISO certified.
What is involved in third party testing?
ARL Bio Pharma tests for potency, ultimately measuring the concentration of the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API). This ensures that the product contains the intended amount and provides a double check to our in-house testing. This supports product compliance checks, holds every product to a set standard quality, and confirms preparation accuracy and precision. All of these components confirm that the compounded drug products meet FDA safety requirements and contain the intended drug in the correct amounts. ARL Bio Pharma’s potency testing follows United States Pharmacopeia 797 and 795 guidelines which are essential standards for pharmaceutical compounding in the United States. This includes proper compounding, labeling, and recordkeeping.
ARL Bio Pharma utilizes different forms of high-performance chromatography which is a laboratory technique that separates mixtures into its components to identify purity and concentration of ingredients. They provide certificates of analysis and general documentation to support the products’ purity and safety.
